Interesting it didn't have Alpina wheels but nonetheless I agree that it will stand out.

Alpina wheels are nice but difficult to clean.

there is no such thing as alpina 4.8is x5. try to get your money back if your dealer sold you more than a regular 4.8is x5 based on claim that it is an alpina version. alpina badges and other stuff are everywhere on ebay. if i am wrong, you will get your unique rides that no one has. anyway, good luck with your new purchase.

Congrats on the ride. I don't know what the rest of these folks are talking about but as long as you like it, enjoy it. As for me i have always loved those wheels from the first time i saw them. I have seen them Up close and in person and they do have a flare about them. Harder to clean?? Maybe. But that's ok. It's the price you pay for that extra little something you enjoy.

Quite a while back i posted a picture with those wheels and pretty much nobody liked them but i would be willing to bet if they saw them in person they would be impressed. Anyway enjoy my friend......

Barry, he mentioned the wheels are 4.8is stock style 168 and not Alpina ones. Ok, I won't comment anymore on this thread and will wait for pics.

jigaro: Shoot us the website that you viewed it on so we can sneak a peak...... or hit us with the dealer address ( I live in Jersey, and I would sure like to see that baby). Either way, we can fix this conversation real quick.

So, there was never an X5 Alpina "production" model but it could have been certainly been modified with Alpina upgrades.

What are your interior upgrades? When you say "trim" do you mean your X has a body kit?

Can't wait to see some pics!!
