unlike other super tuners like hartge,AC,hamann etc....alpinas approach is much more tame compared to these other guys. interior/exterior is way more subtle not as agressive. other than that they are considered an elite brand for Bmw so no matter what you made a great choice enjoy.

Without wishing to be rude I can only assume you haven't read the thread in its entirety. If you had then you would have seen the significant number of comments from a number of members with E53 knowledge and high post counts.

The considered opinion is there has never been an officially Alpina badged E53

I have gone into more detail than most explaining Alpina connections to the 4.6is and 4.8is models, however, I belive the car concerned , (if it exists at all), is likley to be a misdescribed vehicle & possibly with some aftermarket bits added.

I am happy to be proven wrong and share in the delight of the new owner but there have been no pics and no verification to even suggest the a car of any sorts exists - first post being made over 3 mths ago.

One contributor has infered that anyone intersted in this thread is an idiot.

I can get a marker pen and write Alpina on my car but it wont make it an Alpina !

Fuck this man, enough is enough, i have been reading your posts, i'am the one who bough the 4.8is and i'am the one who started this thread, chill out, yes i did start this thread 2 months ago, but you guys need to understand that car was delivered to me over the atlantic, then over the meditareanean, and now over the black sea, it took a while, the car is fucking gorgeus, i dont really care what you guys think really, fact is the car is sick, and i though i would share my happyness with you, but you guys cant control yourself, do you think it was easy for me to wait for it for 3 months? no, not really, and now you guys cant wait untill i go through go damn customs, so i can go wash it, take some pick and post it here? jesus christ, believe me i will do it sooooooooooon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

:blah: Congrats on your 4.8is, if you actually have one. 4.8is Alpinas don't exist, so you don't have one of those. I can slap Alpina wheels and badges all over my X too, but that does not make it an Alpina. I can also install an M-sport steering wheel and an M badge on the back, but that does not make it an X5 M.

According to your posts you have had the car for 2 weeks. If you were excited enough to post about it 2 months before getting it, my guess is that you would already shared a photo if you really had it. You can see why so many people are calling B.S. on you.

I did not say my 4.8is had alpina wheels, i mentioned before in this thread that, it had normal 4.8is wheels, u guys can do whatever you want, close this thread or just...........
all i will do is open another thread and post the pics of my ride there, cause i do have it.
