Definitely a Real 4.6 that I've owned since new
What M markings look added or fake ??
Factory 4.6is gauges are visible and only a desperate owner would take the time & money to swap the gauges from a 4.4 or 3.0
You definitely stand corrected about it not being a FACTORY 4.6is which it absolutely is !!

I was just sharing personal pics of my X from the Bavarian Autosport Car show in New Hampshire and not expecting jealous dicks complaining about the quality of some vintage pics I wanted to share !

I'm not sure they were attacking you personally, it's just that a lot of X5's end up looking quite different from factory with owners pretending the car is a model it isn't.

I could tell it had to be a 4.6 or 4.8 (I noticed the cluster) and also complemented you on it being a tidy looking car. The interior looks in great condition and it's obvious that you love your car and have pride in it.

I thought it may have been the Imola Red car that you sprayed Leguna Blue and for me that would have been a shame as that is such a rare colour when there are plenty of other colours to change.

Colour coding the bumpers does alter the way it looks and the rims (look like Simmons?) aren't to everyone's taste. :dunno:

"kill yourself"???? That is the exact comment I would expect from someone who claims to own a car like this. Kind of like where dogs start to look like their owners, this car represents you perfectly. I would never tell you to terminate your own life. But, your kind make yourself very evident every day. Hope that engine cover found it's way back to the proper car and not some ghetto rat trying to make his car look like something it isn't. And FYI, I have 2 4.6is. Dropping the mic and not responding to this douche moving forward.

Is there something in particular that makes you think it is not a 4.6 capeX5? I don't see anything. Please post pictures of your two 4.6s. Would love to see them. Got any that show them side by side, would be a great picture. I don't see anything warranting a mic drop unless you mean having two 4.6s is the reason.

Yea.. Laguna, don't be that guy telling people to kill themselves when talking about your car. I could tell it was a 4.6 from the cluster as previously stated but with an e9x m3 intake plenum over top of the engine. Is the plenum cosmetic or did you remove the intake manifold and build runners up to each port on the bottom side of the plenum? While it's not my cup of tea cosmetically I can appreciate the time and effort you have spent making it yours.

So on 03-04-2023 @ 9:03 pm. I posted some pics of my E53 X5 4.6is that I've owned since new with only 51k miles because this is XOUTPOST.COM and we are all here to chill and talk about our Beamers ..
But at 6:29am the following morning after probably staying up all night on Meth !
CapeX5 felt the need to post Rude comments about my
( according to him /her /it ) my basic looking 4.4
Then later that same day at 4:52 pm he/she/ it posted
( And I Quote ) that I was a( Wanna Be ) and that
he /she /it thinks my X5 is not even a real 4.6 !!
Not something a normal intelligent minded person would post about a fellow member of the same forum !!
Then he/she/it bragged about having 2 X5 4.6's before his Mic Drop
Then was called out to post pictures of them by a fellow member...
Just wanted to state these facts about the reason for my comments ..

It's obvious you take great care and pride in your cars so I wouldn't worry too much about what some have said.
