Congrats! I've had a 4.6is for about 7 years now and to be honest, after the 1st year I have rarely punched the gas. Probably subconsciously worried about the cost of premature wear and the cost of gas. But it sure looks good! heh. I still catch people taking photos after I detail it. :D

I punch it on mine every once in a while. It's nice to stretch it's legs.

If ya got it use it. Been doing that for 118,000+ miles.

I'm more of a punch it through a corner/around a sweeper guy... LOVE getting on the loud pedal then... very satisfying to see the true engineering in it...

It was a thrill driving the I-90 northern passes through Washington and Montana for this exact reason. Big downhill sweeps, the truck was on rails, confident and comfortable while slinging 5000# around.

I punch it every time I take it out. She loves it even still at 95k miles

From a stoplight, down an on ramp, long sweeping curves, curvy country road, doesn't matter. Engine, transmission and suspension are all modded. Much more fun than our X5M.
