I can have it certified by a BMW dealer but I'm going to go with an aftermarket AUL warranty that will cover it just as well. The upside to that is I can take it to any shop I choose, and it will cover me for far longer than just 6 years.

congrats and enjoy the drive back. I drove mine to CA from KY. Well - sort of. A buddy took it from KY to CO and I drove it from CO to CA. What a road trip. The 90K mile 4.6is performed flawlessly. I assume you are having or already had a PPI done at a local dealer in FL? That's what I did and it all checked out. I guess with 32K miles you have a lot less to worry about than I did, but still better safe than sorry. I almost bought a E36 M3 back when they were nearly new cars and it had under 40K miles on it and had been in a nasty wreck. I had the check in hand for the car and everything in the guys name. I ran as fast as I could out of the shop as soon as I settled up the payment for the PPI that saved my ass..
