thinking about removing the bulbs from the side marker lights (on front left and right fenders not in headlights) and covering the lenses with black matte vinyl to give cleaner look. thoughts?

Leave it, it's a BMW. Better yet, buy them on eBay for $10, smoked ones.

dont know why u guys think this was such a bad idea? as if i took off my 87's and put on 24 inch chrome duds....just cleaning her up!

Not a bad idea, just my preference. No biggie either way, but I like em the way they are. I just want to buy new ones so that they are new looking.

btw taking opinions on what to do (if anything) with my grills? this goes for the lower front bumper as well as kidneys and upper hood... considering gloss black upper hood and kidney grills... not set on it though.

also removing roof rails? blacking out X5 badge on rear and rear roundel holder?
