I am on the same maintenance schedule for driveline fluids as you Slick, just had both my diffs, manual trans, transfer case done a few months ago at 62k (bought it right under 60) and will do again at 100!

Dropping it off at my indie's shop to get the new tension struts/BJs installed. He's only charging me $150 to do both sides. I got a quote yesterday from the dealer and they wanted $300+ per side. What a joke. I also asked the dealer for a quote to install 1 outer CV Boot (part + install) for my fiancé's E53 and it was $85 for the boot and $300+ for labor. An OEM boot only costs $37 from ECS and there's a DIY here stating it can be done in 30 minutes lol.

I'll just replace the other control arms later... they still looked/felt okay when I checked them. I want to get those exhaust tips first anyway lol!

I was actually thinking about doing the job myself, then I figured I'd need an alignment after probably anyway.

I hear as long as you are replacing bj's too you dont need special tools cuz you can whack them out with a hammer.
