How the hell did you do this? Where do you even get the updated software? Thanks.

All update software included in SSSProgman V32. Connect it to the X, choose update software. Progman will read and tell you what can be updated with a new number. You can choose to update the whole car or each module individually. It took about 15-20 min to update each modules and you need to hook up a battery charger. After that, I use INPA to clear all adaption values. Now the X is more responsive.
It makes a big different in my E39 too. Even my wife notices it and wonders what happened to the E39 :D

SSSProgman V32. Can you explain this setup. Which cable do you have? Thanks.

I have the eBay INPA/Ediabas cable with serial connector and 20-pin adaptor. You need to set up a VMware (which you already have) to run it. Check out this thread on bimmerforums on where to download and how to install it.

You don't need Carsoft since you have INPA already.

Well got her all cleaned up. She needed alot of work, but I think she came out pretty good. She actually looks whiter? Before the cleaning it looked like antique white, but now it looks like brillant white, I LIKE IT! Here are some pics.

I washed down the engine bay as well. Adams APC all over the bay and scrubbed al the grease off. Now it is sparkling.

Now I got another problem to chase. Since Thursday, the SES light has been out. Now this afternoon, I got P0171,P0174, and P0102. After the light went out, I didn;t look any further. So I guess tomorrow I am going to pull the acountical cover off and check all the hoses and such. Hopefully it is just a gasket of vacuum hose that is shot. I doubt my MAF is dead because that code is showing low input, so it may be possible I got the connector a bit wet and their is moisture build up. I got some QD connector cleaner. Hopefully that dries them out.

Gonna start lookin. Awesome!
Oh and I did an oil change on her too. lol
Oh and $92 in Premium

Tmv thanx. Only difference is I have a USB cable. I'll read that link, and maybe ask you a couple of more questions.

TTGTR, yea man, looks great. I don't have the balls to hose my engine bay.

Yesterday I r&r'd the the left front boots. Didnt take long to remove, but man was it ever tricky to get back in. Had it out in about a 1/2 hour, but getting it back in was something else... 2 hours plus.

Installed new motor mounts, both sides and installed new Powerflex bushings up front only for the thrust arms and for the sway bar. Oh and new sway bar links. Rear sway bar bushes will go in next weekend.

Those motor mounts about kicked my ass!! Lol! But...hey, saved about $500 sweatin and gruntin being diy'er!!
