To be honest I didn't ask him where he was getting the filter, it is a GM transmission. It was $80 for the filter kit. Dexron VI fluid. 6 qts for $60. $240 for the labor.

I spent about a month using the auto window down to reach in and open from inside.

Maybe that's my best option -- I guess that means opening all four windows and the panoramic sunroof each time? I'm a bit afraid of stressing the sunroof. I never had a problem with the sunroof on the old one but I hear the panoramics are fragile.

The fronts open first about half way before the rears. You can stop before the roof opens.

Hold the unlock button on your key fob and it should roll your windows down. You can then reach in and open from interior door handle. PITA I know, but it works until you get the part.
