We recently picked up an F15 as well, diesel version though. Not as engaging as the E53, but holy hell does it feel like a future car in terms of comfort and technology.

Same here, wife's DD is a 35d F15. Absolutely awesome family hauler.

My persistence paid off. The vehicle value was bumped to an amount just slightly over the repair estimate (but no where near where it should be in my opinion :) ). I'll deal with the repair in the coming weeks or closer to spring.
