Blacking out the Plane Jane....-----TOOOOO Blackkkkk Beauuuty....


all the Black Trims were fading and had some wax residue's. the modling was fading too...so what i did was blacked out all the black Trims,grills,washer vents....:thumbup::thumbup:

plasti-dip man.......2boxes.....= 12 cans....

used 6 cans....

IMO...blacked out all the vents n grills......:dunno:

i just bought some black plasti-dip and am planning to do that. i sprayed the front grills once but had to peel it because it was too bubbly. gunna try and warm the grills up first then give it a shot.. 40 degrees in washington, not helping.

the warm the car up man..and wipe the grills with acetone first to get all the oil residue out and then you spray...goodluck man.

When did you get a black E53?

Dipped the slats on the extra grill in gunmetal...

Rebuild Trans & New Conti. Xtreme DWS
 

140K was a nice and knew the trans was on its way, so decided to have it rebuild it by APC in arlington heights, IL. Ride was out for a week and when it came back..WOW..its like a brand new car..all the power is back and some...wicked !! :thumbup::thumbup:
Summer tires were virtually done, so this year decided to install AS tires. Have been driving them for a week now and it seems ok..not like the summer tires (Michelin), I will try them this winter see how they hold on..
