Popped the front bumper off. Tried to fix right corner PDC, thought it was a severed wire, more like an exploded sensor. Waiting till monday to call Bloomfield and order the part.

Oh and broke a clip in the process, what else is new?

I gotta order roundel grommets. Went to put on badges and found out both are double sided taped on.

Diving into the Dynavin D99 E39a head unit install with the DSP workaround. Taking a break...this shit is a PITA for the electronically challenged!

replaced both hood latches and the two cables...oh right and the right hood post that I had to cut to get the hood to open! Good news was that it only cost $100 for the parts.

This all started when I was putting in my new kidney grills and didn't realise the right grill did not have the cut out for the hood release. I now have the brand new right grill siliconed in as I broke off all the tabs to get at the latches...just about cried when I did this. BTW, never install grills with the hood down:)!

Hood works fine once again the the new grills look great!

Finished changing valve cover gaskets. This job was complicated due to the fact that I found one of the valve covers had a piece broken off the casting. While it was only the part that holds the plastic cover on, and not particularly critical, I decided to replace the valve cover. Getting a used cover was a comedy of errors, but I finally got my hands on a used one from a wreckers for $75.
