haha.No snow here though with the first frost I had a similar problem to last year where my lock mechanism froze and the door won't close any more. Since I had an appointment I had to drive, so drove for 15 minutes holding the door closed... bloody thing gets heavy after a while!
after 15 minutes pulled over and the door closed no problem. Lets hope tjhat's it for the year :D |
Tornado's here in SWFL on Sunday. Sunny the next day.
The X5 3.5d remained snuggled in under the carport.... Brad |
Bought replica front skid plate for 119usd.

Bought new. Never been driven on ice or snow (they use Brine and sand for the two days a winter). Never even had ice or snow on it.

Well it's time to give my X5 some love.
I took the passenger roof rab bar off, and now I want to repaint this portion. Does anyone know what's the best paint to use? Then I need to work on leaks...I have an oil leak on the passenger side, an oil leak on the driver side and a coolant leak in the middle...this is going to be fun. It's been leaking for a very long time so it's not easy to pinpoint. Also, both window trims on each side have a little gap at the end. Does anyone have a link or trick to fix that? Thanks! |
