I get the Ate 200 from BavAuto, ECS Tuning or Bimmerzone.

www.redlinespeedworx.com But I would buy from ECS, BavAuto etc, don't need to buy brake fluid in a BMW bottle when OEM fluid will do |

I have seen the ATE at autozone I think
never heard anything about the die being a problem but some stupid US gov thing about it looking good to drink or something  been at least 6yrs now but maybe it has only been a few. I still have a can unopened as I would switch between that and the amber when doing flushes on the M3 |
Federal government passed a law around 15 yrs ago, ALL brake fluid MUST be clear or amber on ANY vehicle operated on public roads.
I still have 2 unopened cans of Ate SuperBlue Racing fluid (the fluid was sold up until a few yrs ago for "track use" vehicles, hence the "racing" in the name). I like switching from amber to blue each fluid flush because of the stark contrast between the gold/amber and blue colors (MUCH more visible then the gold/amber and clear). I currently have the SuperBlue in the X, will do an amber swap when I install the new tires next week. |
