Drove the X5 1,100 miles from NY to Orlando. Took 16 hrs.

Forgot to update yesterday, but I had an alignment done at the dealer. What a difference that made! :)

Put the plates back on, put $20 in the tank and drove the crap out of her in the snow. Man I missed driving my X.

Dealer installed drivers side window regulator. Now getting a idle speed vibration and intermittent Nav failure diagnosed. ALWAYS something!! I think I have more miles on BMW loaners than my own car.

Suspension Overhaul.

It is about that time. With 123k miles on the clock, I'm 'bout to bring my bitch back to life with these:

Anyone care to install these for me? :stickpoke ... I'm serious though!

Idle speed vibration supposedly solved by an adjustment to the idle speed. Now getting a Secondary Water Pump installed? I was supposed to pick it up today, but they called after seeing a fault for this system. New secondary water pump it is. Anyone heard of that? Dont find it in the service manual. Called another shop and he confirmed its there, circulates coolant when engine isnt running. ??

Yup we have a secondary pump. Haven't read it failing on anyone yet. Called auxiliary pump.

Thanks. I see it now in the service manual. Part of the cabin Heating system, not an engine cooling system component as I was told.

Post pictures of your install and any tips you may have! I'm interested in doing this for the X5 this summer, in addition to subframe bushings.

Also, don't Bilsteins come with integrated bump stops? I'm not sure where I read that but I believe Bilsteins HD's come with bump stocks in the shock body itself.
