Finally got around to dealing with the intermittent frozen check valve post compressor. Added a water separator to the system to catch moisture before it enters the main line. Also wired in a compressor kill switch by the drivers kick panel.

Cool...I thought about taking pics...but I just wanted to get out of the stuff. :) I'm a bit further north (Allen county) and we only got about 5 inches of snow...looks like Naptown got hit pretty good.
Also finally got a chance to see how my Michelin Lattitude X-Ice xi2 winter tires handle in the white stuff. I got them 11/17/12 and we've only had unseasonably warm, cold, & wet weather...finally some snow. Must say the drive was totally uneventful (steady & stable) & couldn't even break them loose under normal driving dynamics...just as they should be. ;) BTW...are you running all seasons or dedicated winter tires? |

Led indicator .....
Trying to polish the headlight but FAIL :(, going to have another go with proper sanding down ..... |
Got it coded so that
1. All the doors unlock with just a single push on the remote button. 2. All the doors self lock when the car is moving. 3. All the windows and sunroof open with the remote. 4. All the windows and sunroof close with the remote 5. can blind the driver in front of me with my fog lights and high beams. |
Tymatk, I'm interested to see more of that LED indicator bulb. Any pics of it in the light housing?

Put a new expansion tank in the fiance's X yesterday, took mine out yesterday for some fun in the snow. It handled great with the new tires on. Scheduled an alignment for next week too (much needed).
My buddy finished up my E46 computer chair the other day... http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y65...E0B70E07E1.jpg |

I paid a total of $262 (both mirrors + shipping) which was still a few dollars cheaper that the purchase of one new EC/heated/aspherical mirror. The lowest price I could find for one new mirror here in the states was $270. I'll post pics comparing the original (left/right) plain/convex mirrors to the aspherical/aspherical set when I can get the garage warm enough to pop the old mirrors out without breaking anything. 2. There was a note in the bottom of the box that said that I was getting these wheels that were originally for someone else who'd been naughty this year...so Santa dropped them off on my porch because I was extra good this year. Did you just tell on yourself? :D:D:D |
