yea it appears to be leaking right as the lines hit horizontal again. Plates are coming off of her monday due to poor funding, so I suppose now is as good a time as any to fix it lol.

you tried baking the hell out of the 2003 lights Dan? I pm'ed mrbmwx5 since he recently got open the facelift headlights believe it or not.

I'd really love to polish the inside of my lenses, dremel out the amber, and maybe remove waffles and install angel eyes but it looks like the only way we can get ours open is to cut them open with a dremel lol.

Why don't you send yours to mrbmwx5 and have him upgrade the lights for you. His prices are very reasonable, maybe he will even send you a spare for the time being.

Dan that looks sexy!

No go on removing the amber though right? my headlights are 7/2003 production. Did you get your truck coded to keep the fogs on with the high beams? or is that the city lights on?

I had amber city lights on my old VW and they were so nice

Thanks man, the pics aren't really accurate as to how bright they are... they're much dimmer/more subtle in person (about 1/4–1/2 the brightness of the top pic). I'll try to get some pics with the DSLR later. I used clear bulbs btw - install was easy, same as you would do to hook up AEs.

No go on removing ambers... I couldn't get the lens separated and I wasn't going to ruin the lights by trying other methods haha. I'll just get some DEPOs eventually, I don't mind the stock lights but I figured if I could do it easily why not. My production date is 11/2002. No fogs with highs (I wish), like I said the pics are a bit deceiving on how it actually looks. I wanted to do amber CL's but because I can't disable the corner lights I decided it would clash when all lights were on, I may try yellow later since I have Nokya Yellows coming for the fogs but I'm happy with how it looks currently.

^Buy a set of 2000-2002 headlights and mod them to your liking, then sell yours.

Thought about it, but I'd rather just get DEPO's later.
