About 3800mi away from rolling over 200K, it's ugly but runs and drives beautifully. Prior owner was a fanatic.

I drove my E53 for the first time in a couple of weeks. In retribution, it threw a trifecta at me. But to be fair, after the first trip the trifecta went away. Then, the check engine light has been on (for lean codes, I believe due to a vacuum leak) and it went away but then came back. Fortunately, when the lean code trips the check engine light, the idle is rock solid and stable, so I got that goin' for me. It rolled over 135,000 miles on today's trip.

Anyways, I need to take the intake tract apart again and make sure it goes back together right. I ordered a new VDO MAF since I'm resorting to the parts cannon to get the idle and CEL issues figured out.

Picked it up and parked it. I have been in the E30 for a month and I might just be smitten. The X5 has this bad ass stereo and Android radio function that I wanna tie into my smart house, and mirrors that are finicky, and it's got this loud exhaust that sounds awesome...

I don't even turn on the radio in the E30.

I often don't have radio on in my e70 when I have the exhaust flap open using bimmerlink. Quite a difference especially going up minor hills

Paid the Witch's insurance for the year with 266,623 USD in medical rider all for 337 USD.....

Amazing how cheap insurance is overseas, even with Haji Knievel driving school handing out licenses![emoji848][emoji28]
