Restored the headlights using Sylvania headlight restoration kit - fantastic results . Also applied 303 UV protectant. Will be applying it regularly to keep the lenses shiny for years to come.

Yeah really. That looks amazing. Did you use some sort of machine or is this all by hand? Mine are right there, just need cleaned up but are still very save-able.
On my first E36 they were completely shot, and all the plastic tabs were broken. So I bought the hundred or so dollar TYC lights from bimmerworld, and they're fine I suppose, but they look a little cheap, and one of the lenses inside already cracked somehow. On the second E36 they're in pretty good shape, but do need a good polish like this. The X is currently at the state ref, not throwing any codes for the next 5 hours I really hope. |
Yes, great job

I bought extra 400, 1000, 2000 grit sand paper and polished per the product instructions. The papers that come with the product were not enough for me. I wanted to do a thorough job. |

Is it normal for one of the pre-cat sensors reading to jump all over from 0.09 to 0.72 and back? We looking at a failing O2 sensor? |
