Phewwww!!! 3 days of work on this thing. So, lets go down the line and list what was done.

Exterior:
Wheels Prepped and cleaned with Sonax Full FX and Adams APC
Body washed and dried
Paint prepped with Aquartz Iron Cut. Lots of Contaminantes on the paint.
Rinsed then Clayed
Swirls were everywhere. So I used Mezerna SI for correction.
Then hit it with Mezerna SF to blend everything in.
Applied Aquartz Titanium
Then 6 coats of GlanzWax
Wheels pulled and sprayed with Wolfs Decon Gel
Old adhesive from wheel weights removed with 3m Adhesive remover.
Clayed all wheels
2 coats of wax on each wheel
Wheel wells cleaned with Adams APC and dressed with Adams Undercarriage Spray

Interior:
Vacummed and rubber mats washed with Adams APC
Leather cleaned with Z1 Deep Plastic Cleaner
Applied Zymol Conditioner to Leather.

I am thoroughly tired! haha. But I think it came out great. First time I used my Porter DA on it and my shoulder doesn't hurt. So the results were great and hitting the paint with the light, all swirls are GONE! Reading Phil's page (Detailersdomain) He found out if you used the glanzwax on Metallic paint, it makes the metal flakes pop. Using it in multiple coats, gives the paint this killer WET look and I agree. After the 6th coat though, I noticed it didn't look any different than after the fifth, so I stopped. Hope you guys like.

Man. Lots of work there. I'd have used cquartz or opticoat after polishing to lock everything in. You *can* put wax over the ceramic coatings for a deeper shine.

What did you use on your engine bay, especially the plastic engine cover? Looks really nice!

R&R'd 3 PDC sensors that I've been putting off for a while. 2 front centers and one rear corner. Works like a charm. I can forget how to park on my own all over again now! :)

Lol thats one of my repairs I totally forgot about, I pulled the PDC fuse a year ago haha I have a dead center sensor in front and rear!

Amazing how we got along without PDC all this time!

Can you pull the fuse just for the front center Pdc? If so where is it located

Mike look in your glove box fuses for "parking aid" I think there is a number for that one, I just pulled that one. if there is none labeled "parking aid" let me know i'll check my glovebox!

fuse 6 (F6) feed power to PDC, electrochromatic mirrors and RDC upto 2004/3, and after that date, F6 feeds PDC, electrochromatic mirrors and adaptive headlights...

so, pulling F6 will disable those functions in the car, of course, if so equipped...

EDIT: originally i put down wrong (5) fuse... corrected to reflect Fuse 6 (F6)

I have no idea how we made it!! Lol I don't like this "turn your head to see where you're reversing" nonsense. It's way too much work, and completely unnecessary in the day of PDC and backup cams.

Edit: Mike, instead of pulling the fuse (and losing the functions of the other functions on that circuit) there are options available via coding as to how the PDC is activated. If memory serves me right, one of those is a 'manual' mode; so PDC won't fire up until the button is pressed.

I can't even imagine how we can back up without this: TopView camera setup for E53 - YouTube
