Today I touched up the receiver, painted the grill black and painted my 2 black headlight sprayers alpine white... busy day but I think its looking better... Next Ill be painting the calipers and putting on new wheels and tires. Later in the week Ill be installing an amp and 10 inch slim line sub in the rear. Fun Times... :D

I have the Best Wife ever!! She used her vinyl cutter program and cut me some roundel stickers for my front and rear emblems and center caps!!!

I thought I had that record at over 9 yrs old. 13 yrs is nuts for battery life!

Edit; Just saw your build date is a late '03 X, that would make 9 yrs.

Nope I was mentioning above me, member "tmv" his build dates are from 2001!

My battery was replaced late 2011!

Sorry, mis-read that.

Mine was replaced at 9 yrs 3 mos, sitting for 12 hrs without alarm active showed 12.2/12.3 volts (that's around 45/50% charge). Some wait until they need jump starts which is foolish due to the wear/damage that can occur when voltage drops below 12.0 volts (voltage drops, amperage draw/heat increases).

I'm going to have mine tested after work. When I parked this morning, after taking the key out of the ignition I noticed the dash light stayed on and car wouldn't lock all doors, so I tried restarting the car - engine wouldn't start. Went around to the trunk (noticed the brake lights were on too) disconnected & reconnected battery, and then turned the car on (started fine)... DSC/ABS/Brake lights were on.

Possibly the battery going out?
