Traded it in on a Titan. It was a great car and I'll miss it but the need for a truck outweighed my love for my X.

Top off engine oil. About 1/2 qt low.
Put in the rear window and windshield shades. I'm tired of looking at them on the shelf :D

Well, went to change coolant Saturday and found the drivers side CV boot covered in grease. Needed to get it done quickly (as always) so paid an indy to put in a new axle. Glad it got done on a Sat afternoon!
Changed coolant on Sunday, but only got a gallon out draining the radiator. Even jacked up the back end, but not much more came out.
Oh well, at least half new coolant!

100K and then some

This is the first time posting on any site. Thought I would thank those who have gone before, especially, those who have given such great advice on valley pan, H20 pump, transmission fluid change, and last, not least the link to the Beisan site for Vanos rebuild. I have a 2002 4.4 bought in 2011 with 88K, new brakes and new front axles. I knew at 100K it would need some preventative maintenance done so I searched this and other sites for info. Had a small coolant leak and replaced the overflow but it didn't solve the problem. Coolant at bottom of bell housing seemed to indicate the valley pan so I planned a major service including: Valley pan, plugs, H20 pump, thermostat, hoses, gaskets, 02 sensors(front), both belt tensioners, crank bolt, Vanos rebuild, timing chain guides, paint valve covers, transmission fluid change, and I don't know what else. Turned out I didn't need the valley pan because three bolts on the coolant manifold were loose giving the telltale drip at the bell housing but once in did it anyway. In doing the Vanos I discovered a chipped intake cam land holding the middle seal so replaced that too! How 'bout that for my first real job on an X? Turned out great, though not without a few difficulties. After that, I went back for some more and installed the factory hitch I bought a year ago. Alls well and thanks to all who guided me.

^I'd look into those front suspension bushings, they are what caused my wobble under breaking. Just a little food for thought.

Hi guys!

Pnoyako:Hope your baby got her new tires, man every time i see that X with those plates in the window it makes me smile!

So,before i always used some quick wax on the body, and some silicone on the lights, and stuff like that.Yesterday i went to the gym,and one of my old friends told me that he use Pronto on his S8 wich is made for wood.

So i quickly went in to a supermarket and bought one,i tried it,and it looks amazing, actually it's like a mirror..:dunno:

I polished my X a few months ago,but with this stuff it even has a better shine..
If you guys have a chance than try this thing,it gives the body, lights, plasticks an amazing shine.

Hope it was a help!
