I installed a factory cd changer so I have more options than my radio. :)

Replaced left front axle shaft and seal. The cv boot was torn and not sure how long. After reading all the tips/tricks here decided it would be easier, faster and definitely cleaner to replace the entire shaft.
TIP - be sure to have ALL the correct tools and parts before performing this very easy DIY. And never use a pickle-fork/ball joint splitter to pry out the shaft from the differential. You will damage the seal and be running to the local BMW store (which in my case was an hour away) to get a replacement. |
Exatly 1 year affter i sliced my tire on a curb, i sliced the opther one again the same day this year.. UGHHHH. have a new one on order...

Yesterday was the first day of Fall, detail hand washed and treated all the plastic/rubber with Surf City Beyond Black (this stuff dries and does not attract dirt/dust). The Maguires Endurance would never dry and collect road dust, got tired of dirty pant legs from getting in/out.
In my book, the first sign of Fall is being able to fill the tank from E with Shell V-Power premium for under $80. Did that too! |
