^^^Tam is that going in the spare tire well?

And Smokey what are you doing with the prancing horse wheels?

Smokey53, we'll find out. :D

RB, that's going in place of the stock woofer on the right compartment. I haven't cut the round hole yet. Waiting for the subwoofer.
If it doesn't sound good enough, I will modified the stock box by cutting off the face and epoxy a piece of MDF in there, then mount the sub.

Nice work. Is chip board dense enough? Mostly people use MDF right?

In those dimensions it should be okay. Get's to a problem when you have long spans (long continuous box). Bracing helps too, but with that design... I can't see it being a problem. MDF would be "better" but it should be fine.

Just IMHO though.

My 1st mod on the 4.8is .. used GT1 to code the normal ride height down to 'entry mode' height. I may go a touch lower, but will run it this way for a few days and see how it feels.

Trans fluid and filter change.

Changed the transmission fluid and filter yesterday. Factory says lifetime on the fluid. I don't know what they consider lifetime but at 111,930 miles, I guess the fluid lived out a long life, too long. It had a color hue between chocolate and road tar. It will be changed in another 50,000 miles.

Unless you did a complete flush, you still have a lot of old fluid in there as a simple drain/refill does not remove/replace all the fluid.

Do it again soon if you just did a drain/refill.
