Xoutpost.com - What did you do to / for your E53 today??

If they are OE wheels I would definitely go for it - make sure your local powdercoater is able to take care of the chrome finish underneath and has experience stripping chrome

I already checked and they are, powder coat will be $50 per rim :thumbup:

pulled the trigger and bought them with brand new tires as well on them
gonna powder coat them and throw them on in the spring

how did you guys decide your color for coating? I was thinking just doing gloss black to match my X

If your car is black do gunmetal. The black wheels get lost if everything is black IMO

Yes, gunmetal would be great. Your powdercoater should be able to show you samples in his shop of different colors as well. Bcredliner has gunmetal wheels on his 4.6 they look awesome
