Drilled, tapped, and installed grease zerks into my ball joints.
Now "servicable" and never to make an embarrassing squeak like so many do.
Next up, coolant expansion tank replacement. Parts due just in time for the weekend.

I upgraded with the Mediabridge with Bluetooth. Works perfect!
Really love the car now as far as I didn't already.

[*]Finally addressed a slight 'lean' to the rt (passenger side) that I'd seen ever since a trusted Indy did the Eibach sways. It was off by about 1/2" up front on the rt (lower) and 2/3" on the rear. Nice and level, now.

What did you do to fix this? My front is 1/2" higher on one side? not sure if its strut related... PM me if you can. thanks

Today my passenger window will not roll back up. The window switch died.

Last week end, transmission fluid change + filter + sleeve.
This week end, replace 2 whisbone arms (rusted nuts requires cutting), change 2 axle carrier ball joints (borrowed the tool from the dealer but got the wrong tool, so, the X is in stand by mode).

Then, alignment.

Oh, my front right airbag is leaking, so I have to order one from Arnott.

Wow, I seem to pass more time in the garage with my X5 than with my family. Is there something wrong here :stickpoke

No, I'm joking, it's just the the previous owner sold the truck instead of repairing all that stuff. I will eventually catch up on the maintenance. :iagree:
