HERE WE GO AGAIN...

first of all - happy holidays to everyone!!
5hp-24:gun:

update on my the rebuild(after 25k or so miles):
1) jerking on 1st and 2nd and downshift from 3rd to 1st(i think:dunno:)
2) transfailsafe prog on and off
3) P0732
4) ses on and off

to everyone rebuild the tranny, any problems after?
all i can think of is the "3 pads on the back of B clutch hub"(maybe it got worn out or another gasket?:cussing:)

RRPHIL- need your expertise, thanks in advance!

Check post 93-94 for the pads question. I had the pads problem but not the symptoms you are describing. Check the bearing first.

Holly molly... I cannot believe to took it apart again.

That P0732 code indicates a possible E-clutch problem (i.e. 2nd gear). Might be worth checking that your E-clutch piston

doesn’t have a split in it

and that its O-ring seals are okay?

My auto gearbox was rebuilded 2 times in 150k miles, the first rebuild at ca. 95 k miles was good for 25k miles, the last one could also last just 20k miles or 1,5 years.

Old Tread, but i need to ask this:

How many bolts the tranny housing has? i got 9 bolts, (the 2 for the starter are not included) , asking as i need to know in top there are 2 smaller head screws ,and my question is , is there another screw there? for some reason i cant pull the tranny out.

Thanks,

(hope that is okay to re-open the tread after all this time)
