All LED taillights are pretty much from the same manufacture, except the new one posted above. I'm happy with LED taillights on my E53, no more brake/taillights problem plus the updated look.

No error codes, no flickering, the easiest plug and play ever...I was actually surprised too. :)

^^ Not likely to have any flicker on pre-facelift. Most of flicker complaints are on the facelift models.

Phil, can't read German but can't find these tail lights for face lifted E53? Why wouldn't these fit 1999 to 2006?? Did the tails change?

Those should physically fit up to 2006. I'm guessing that 2004-2006 isn't listed as being compatible due to adaptive brake lights. So, I think it should work as long as you don't mind giving up your adaptive brake lights.

These stock look upgrade are actually very nice.
