Subscribed. Would like to see if you guys can figure out the constant power wine issues.

Guys, a nice friend of mine offered to make a bluetooth "contraption" which he has wired up to an Edup bluetooth connector he has. His wires are for left/right/ground. This is going to sound silly, because he said it was simple, but how do I get the wires to go into the 3 pin aux cable at the back of my monitor? I would ask him but he's away right now and I'm hopeless at this sort of thing. PS be kind:) http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/03/28/esatu6yr.jpg

Evidently I'm retarded. I think I should just buy the aux retro kit, plug it in and stick the bluetooth adapter into the 3.5mm Jack in the kit. Cost $A114 but easy and will just work. Heaps easier for me I think.

Panna, you need a connector 61136931929, about $2-5, and three pins 61130006664 with wires.

total cost - under $10 ( I would say, about $3-4).

that all she wrote... lol...

see this post for a bit more details and PDF for factory schematics of the cable.

What you've written up sounds like what my guy has done except I didn't have the connector, which I will get. Ta

I'm still hopeless at this sort of thing though.

Term, at the risk of looking even sillier, isn't the connector the one that is connected at the back of the monitor? Or does that connector connect into the existing one?

the one at the back of monitor is housing female sockets, the one you should buy will house male pins... i learned what to do with male parts in close proximity to female parts when i was 17... :)
i am sure you will figure out which part goes into which one... lol...
