Heres a question if you plug your Lightning USB Cable in and plug your phone in does it also charge the phone if playing music etc?

RB, the USB does play and charge in the same time although my iPhone seems to have it's own phases when it works and when it doesn't ...I have to look into it and see why it does that.
Probably better to try some other phone and compare the results.Will keep you updated on that one.

Never paid attention to those 20sec but it's more like 5 -7 seconds once you turn it on.gotta see if those 20 sec unlock thing actually work; I'm on my way in the garage;)

EDIT:If you leave the car, it stays on sleep mode for 20 min.
If you return to the car in that time frame the unit will be already up and running when you turn the ignition on;

The subscription is already paid for BUT you have 30 days to update it as much as you want...after that, you'll still have a fully functional NAV but future map updates will have to be paid for.

Jmcgxx, I took the instrument cluster out, lower part of the dash, A pillar , sun visor light assembly and ultrasonic sensor and the whole thing surrounding it...
All that is needed so you can take the wire from one point to another.Use something like a strong but also flexible piece of wire or plastic to fish it through especially when you get at the headliner and from lower dash to A pillar...it's pretty much self explanatory once you take all the pieces out of the way.
If you need further help, let me know !

Thanks very much, I think I've got it

The N6 rearview camera sweeps with steering wheel angle tracking??? SWEET!!!

Clockwork 09-28-2014 07:06 PM

TiAGX5, how can that happen if your camera is a stationary camera, as most installs are?

TiAgX5 09-28-2014 07:18 PM

The specs on the N6 shows steering wheel tracking on rearview camera. I would think the camera has a wider field of view then the display can shows, the processor displays a narrower image behind, based on wheel angle sensor data.

A 90 deg camera and 30 deg display would give 3 full screen views of behind.
