Potentially it is renamed. How many speakers are in your vehicle? Equipped with center channel? And underseat subs?

What do you mean by retrofit? We do not add the Logic7 amp or processing onto the system with the Stage 1 upgrade.

How about a link for the installation instructions? Followed the directions that came with the speakers to find the install directions on your website but cannot find anywhere on the site.

This is for a 2009 X5 with Hi-Fi.

Any independent reviews of the BSW upgrade for those with premium sound? I wouldn't mind spending the $$ but want to be sure it is actually an improvement in sound quality/clarity.

According to Halston, the premium sound is the logic 7 option on his site. Take the price for that, and subtract $70, and thats your group buy price.

I personnaly don't mind the stock system, but I think the factory has limited the sound volume. My '09 was a lot louder (both had/have base system) decible wise. the '11 just can't make my ears ring. I would like to upgrade if I knew that the system would scream at me after speaker replacement.

I think I might check out other '11's at dealer and take a decible meter with me to test.
