Sounds interesting. Would you consider these to be an upgrade to the Premium Sound package? Or is it really an upgrade to the standard sound package?

There will be an upgrade for both the Logic7 and the Standard :)

Nope, don't even have the X5 yet! It's in production now (with the Premium Sound package). I like "premium" sound so I'll be looking at the options if I don't think it meets my expectations...

I have the same feelings as you. I'm picking mine up on Thursday. I just wonder how good this guys speakers really are and maybe it's just appetizing for BMW owners because its directed specifically towards them. I really want subs anyway but they gotta be hidden. The subs in the seat thing BMW does from the factory is great in theory but I wonder how good the sound is from them.

We had someone local come from Global BMW to use to fix his audio system hehe. Had 10 something miles on it. He wanted it out :(

I don't believe the Premium Sound option on the X5 E70 is a Logic 7 system.
I think it's a few additional speakers in the rear and their associated wattage.

Any option to replace the amp in the "base" audio system with a more powerful one?
