From what I can tell Le Mans just put up the pic to show the type of rear entertainment system that is coming...That does not look like a X-5...raised centre in the floor is not an X-5....

I'm selling my x5 asap !! I'm thinking of getting G55 AMG with low milage or Audi R8 !! our x5's will look too old !!especially after the TT and the new headlights and rear ! :(

That pic is of the new 5er (standard 5 or GT - I dunno, they're almost identical).

I'm excited that the rear entertainment will be so integrated into the seat. You can't have it all I guess... cause that's where the kids like to kick the seat too while in a carseat. This is going to be retro-fittable to our "old" E70 seats right? Does it interface with the idrive at all because there may be some compatibility issues with ours then.

The list is nice... soooooo tempted to get a new E70... but there will always be new stuff. :( I guess this is a case of if you lease, you win. ;)

What would people guess is the probability that the 4500 diesel price adjustment will go AWOL with the release of the new 2011 LCI X5?

99%?

I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place because my 2010 X5 is at the dealer's and ready for collection any time I like. Just not sure whether to push through with it or not...

Can't say for certain of course, but I would be Extremely surprised if they launched a refreshed 2011 model early, in the prime selling season of the year, and had a $4,500 incentive on it.

What are the new improvements for the HUD?

I googled the HUD for the upcoming 5 series. Can't really tell from what I've seen. It looks like they've incorporated the lane assist into the HUD. But I don't think that's an option of the X5. Didn't see a tach (like in the X5M).
