This really suck! I'm set to take delivery of my '10 35d on 1/26! I bet that the day after I take delivery all of the details will come out about a great new LCI facelifted awesome-o model X5d hitting showrooms in April.

Well I took a leap of faith based on what everyone here is saying...and have gotten in line for the 2011 hoping that they replace the 4.8 with the TTv8...was going to get a loaded 4.8 with an m sport package...holiday cash, 7 msd's and all...just hope the lease programs are decent when the LCI is launched...

I think lease rates will make up for holiday cash. cash buyers would have been better off with cash. current 4.8 is no slouch but 5.0i would be even better! pls dont remind me abysmal mpg numbers lol

That is quite the leap of faith. I've been keeping up on the diesel rumors. Can someone point me to the latest on the TTv8 rumors/announcements? My CA says the only new engine for 2011 is going to be a change to the 3.0L

I think it's almost 100% that the 4.4 TT V8 is coming ... but I think that you might have to wait a little bit for the lease programs to come back to the levels they are at for the current (pre-LCI) X5.

On a side note, I am curious to know what X5 LCI changes make it to the future X6 LCI presumably as a 2012 model. I am most interested in any interior enhancements they make ... I can't wait to see the pics ...

Show your CA the photos our member palbay took of LCI X5 and posted in this thread. Ask him what this badge stands for. ;)

well my CA did confirm the change in the 3.0...they are waiting to hear on the 4.8/4.4...I figure if they are changing the base engine they will probably change the higher end engine.....my current lease is up last week of april...so Ill either extend it or hope whatever I order gets to me by then...depending on lease rates of course.....apparently they are not giving the dealers a whole lot of info so they don't start talking about the 2011's and effectively kill the 2010's for the next few months.....

I'm in the same boat my lease ends may 1, on one hand I'm excited to possibly get into a 4.4 as soon as they arrive, on the other I'm worried there will be a gap in timing and/or I will overpay
