Edit: Back with more details.

Ordered a Vermillion Red 35d with Saddle Brown interior and Light Poplar wood.

Packages and options include:
-Premium Package
-Cold Weather Package
-Technology Package
-Rear Climate Package
-Adaptive Drive
-Multi Contour Comfort Seats
-Running Boards

We went to Morristown BMW again, but they wouldn't budge any lower than $1600 over invoice. Keeping in mind this will be our third BMW from them, we thought we could score a better deal. We then drove over to Paul Miller BMW for the first time ever, and they were pretty easy going offering $1000 over invoice.

We now have a production number, but can anybody tell me how to track it on BMWUSA?

That's odd - we just bought our 2009 Diesel from there - on Aug 17 2009, got the last allocation deal for custom order for '09 that is - FULLY loaded, + Simonoz sealant (5 years), GAP, Wheel insurance, iPhone intgrated adpater and the only thing we didn't get as an option was the "Heads up Display" and got it for $6000 below INVOICE PRICE!! and delivered in 2 weeks

Good deal.. I'm sure they are dealing pretty good on the 09s. I wanted to wait for the updated NAV and iDrive though.

"Your vehicle is scheduled for production with no production date yet."

 When will it come? Our family is starting to need it since our 3er is "broken."

jayjay_dee 09-30-2009 06:09 PM

Minz, i believe you ordered you 35d before me, and guess what, i have a PCD date already, its on 11/03...

Justin Lee of Paul Miller BMW is the man...

tcfila 09-30-2009 06:36 PM

I doubt the sales guy has anything to do with it...

jayjay_dee 09-30-2009 06:39 PM

youre probably right...

imagine your sales guy slacking, not doing his paperworks....

 "Your vehicle is in production with a scheduled completion date of 10/9/09."

I guess we're going to get it before the end of the month! Now to convince the parents to start ordering mods . . . I've got to inquire about installing a clear bra.

Odd? for a 2009? Many of the last 2009s were going at ~4500 under invoice

Without knowing what you paid for the garbage they shoveled in (simon-whatever...does anyone fall for that crap???) is it impossible to know what you 'true cost' is.
I assume you leased or financed? (GAP?) so maybe they made their money there....

:woot: It went from "Schedule for Production" to "At Preparation Center" on BMWUSA tracking. The 1-800 number still tells me it is in the paint shop... Is the website actually more updated than the phone system for once?
