Don't matter. Mine has been completed for a week now and still "waiting to be released to the carrier". Apparently the EPA cert is holding up delivery.

The 800 # tracking continues to give me information that my X5d is in the paint shop with a completion date of Oct.13th, well today is the 15th and I've been hearing this all week...
Tonight I checked the web and it showing "at preparation center" I don't feel confident with any of BMW's tracking :confused:
I called my SA, but only got his voice mail, maybe he will call me back and have more information...
For what it's worth what does "at preparation center" actually mean in BMW's production chain? :dunno:

Well, tracking to me doesn't matter anymore! My mother got a call from our SA, we're taking delivery next Saturday!

Wow! Congratulations! Finally, someone has an actual date to pick up. This wait has been soooo long. I've been told mine is on the train headed to CA, having left on the 13th. Can't wait!

Sitting outside for 20 minutes trying to figure out how to get the darn Homelink Garage Opener to work. Then we noticed the condensation :yikes: Not nearly as bad on the right headlight.
