I thought about Vermillion Red but in the end went with Space Gray. My current X5 is black and is a pain to keep clean although looks great when it is clean.

Ordered Vermilion Red as well. I wanted Saddle but when I had to fight over exterior color (wife wanted Mineral Green) I didn't have the energy for the Saddle fight and we went with Beige. As much as I love Saddle, I really didn't like the black seat backs which I think was why I didn't fight over it.

Check with your dealer, but I think you can change the color and interior up until about 2 weeks before production start.

Eco-Credit is being extended
I have verification from my salesman, including an internal BMW memo he made me promise not to post online. It basically says the credit is being extended through October and all orders placed up to 8/31 will get production slots. It also states that from now on (through the end of October) dealers will have to use an allocation they currently possess or trade for it. I.e., no taking orders without an allocation then asking BMW to grant an extra slot, which apparently is what has effectively occurred the last week or so.

How much does $1000 over invoice end up costing, if you don't mind me asking?
We bought a CPO'ed Loaded 2007 4.8i and I'm curious to see what the difference between what we paid and what a New one is. Thanks! :beerchug: |

What does priority 1 color mean? Does the red cost you extra? It looks very good on the x5 expecially with the 20" wheels.
