Mid to upper $40K range is about right for a loaded '08 4.8 CPO. Last Oct I paid $48K with 16K miles for mine and it has pretty much every option except HUD and Active Steering. I've looked since just to see and most were even more.

What a deal! Wish I was in the EAST coast.

Do a search on Autotrader for '08 CPOs under 30K miles and under $40K and it pulls back a total of 1 in the whole US. That's not a normal market price. Nobody sells them that cheap unless there is a much larger underlying factor.

I tried autotrader..... no good for me. i kept finding dealers that advertised vehicles that they no longer had. After awhile it seemed like a scam... and i mean i tried many dealers in a three month period. What worked for me was manheim.com An acquaintance of mine has access and gave me his log-in info so i could check at my convenience.

I think the broker I am working with is doing that. He gave me a list of auction tomorrow in North Cal. Found a few 08s with the options but he says realistically if I want low miles (under 30k) black/black, sport, tech, 3rd row, 20s I am at $38k range? He initially mentioned mid $30ks but he says for some reason the demand has gone up recently? Obviously these cars are not CPOd but might have some Manufacturer Warranty left

some of them may very well be CPOd... take your time and shop wisely.... good luck :thumbup:

I know that we are talking about i's here but I will also comment on the amazingly high resale right now on the 35d's. I have been trying to find and buy a 2010 and the best I could find was only going to be about $2-3K less than what I was ultimately able to order a new 2011 for. On the d's it seems like the resellers are not taking into consideration the fact that with the Ecocredit it is possbile to get NEW ones for about $8-10K off of sticker (depending on options).

How does the Ecocredit work?

Very simply: a $3500 direct rebate for the purchasers of the diesel.

I can pick up your car at Auction all day long in the mid to high 20s. Paying 42K for a 30K car doesn't make sense, regardless of trouble fee status.
