This is the coolest enhancement. Can you switch between Non-M HUD and M-HUD? If so, how? Wondering why you didn't list this one in your first post or post #6.

^^ Because I just got it working yesterday, along with coding the hatch open/close. You can switch, its an option on what you what displayed on the hud. Remember I have a CCC (MY '09), not a CIC

Thanks! So there is a chance that it might not work on LCI E70s with CIC? I'll start on that guide when I get home.

This is one place where I'm hating not having a PC in the house. Need a damn Mac version of the software.

Perform this at your own risk. You are modifying parameters from either nicht_activ to activ or vice versa in different modules

I was going to ask the same thing, since dealers are now more and more picky, they are always looking for reasons to deny a claim and just slap "external forces" or "owner modification". I doubt that they can spot if iDrive disclaimer is missing, but they can definitely spot some of the other modifications.

I understand that you are only changing active/non-active parameters, but if they are available and BMW did not add them, I wonder if there is a reason for it. Most of these modifications done by coding are not available as an option, so BMW is definitely not trying to charge us to add those features.
