Just did this entirely by feel.... 'Twas fun. Still have two brand new airbag hats if anyone wants them. Accidentally reused my old ones. Only hiccup was not letting the bags refill rapidly as I let the jack down sloooooooowly. All went mostly fine and wifey is a happy camper.

If you want to, do it. But I have not found the need for it.

Did both mine yesterday, the hardest thing is to slot into the top hole, need a second person to help guiding them in, other than that everything was good. I did pull the positive, now I have problem with "increased battery discharge" problem on it? Did I screw up something or just the battery almost done by coincidence??:dunno:

Is the increased battery discharge popped up once, then you should not have a problem.

In my case I saw it one day while driving to work. By end of day I was getting towed.
Later that week I had to replace the alternator. Boy, the 220Amp Alternator is expensive. Not to difficult to replace, but pain in the a$s for location choice and space.

I did one side today and it went easily - however, now when I start the car I get an auto-leveling error and the new one does not inflate past a certain point (and the car is very tilted now). Does anyone know if you have to replace both sides to avoid this error? I have one to do the other side, but I don't want to move forward until I know the first side is done correctly.

Thank you for any help.

drive the car around the block. no joke. it will self level.
but just in case, make sure you did not disconnect any connectors on shocks.

good luck.
