Exclamation DTM rims corrosion problems

I bought my rims last yr around june, as the first winter just passed I found out that my 22inch polish lips suffers salt corrosion. Therefore, I don't know what to do with it, I've heard to use toothpaste, but it didnt work. I've also tried sanding it down with fine sand paper, but apparently it almost ruin my coatings on the polish lips. Could someone plz suggest me some useful advises ?Thank you very much.
