An honor to see the 4.6iS & 4.8iS mentioned in the same sentence as the X6 ///M

I am sure...I have known him for a while and bought few cars. This is 2009, not 2007. $80k+ cars are not selling like they used to 2 years ago. Over $10k on Porsche 911. Its just the market these days.

No kidding. 3 dealers in my area have new 08 M5 with steep discount and with under $1000k/month lease.

What do you think BMW is going to do with the lease rates? Money factor and Residual?

Now that is the BIG question!!!!!!!
Hard to sell a pricey lease on a X ///M when you can get a killer lease deal on a new '08 M5.

My guess..

Money Factor = 6.5%-7% interest rate
Residual, 36,000 - 36 month 58%

ALso, not so sure about that.. I don't think the 08 M5's will lease well as they will have a horrible residual.

They are a fantastic car to purchase, finance... but not so much to lease..

At least, that's how the numbers looked when we got my bro his M5 3 months ago..

What are you thinking the monthy costs will be?
Last October a friend got a '08 DCT M3 for about $1050 a month for 3yrs/15k miles with the standard $2500 down (plus fees, etc...). Also this was during the 1% program.

hmmm, based on that M5 info, my X5 ///M lease would probably look something like this:
