I cannot understand that. You pay $$$ for "full leather", but no suede headliner. This is a very expensive vehicle, and I think that should be included when you pay for the full leather interior. Is this written in stone?

I don't understand why the car configuration is not up yet for the US models??

I have not spec'd my car yet with a dealer but would like to.. My 7 Series gets turned in on Sept. 3.

B, if you plan to spec a ///M, won't they allow you to do a month to month until your new whip arrives? I remember a friend of mine doing this a few years ago.......Phil

Yeah I'm not sure either, however, it might have to do with the fact that BMW has yet to finalize the financing/lease programs for the 2010 X5-6 ///M.

I hope they get the production line rolling before I change my mind on spending 100k for it.

$100k For that money a 2008 Aston Martin Vantage or gently used low 2-3k miles Lambo Gallardo. What turns more heads?..Decisions, decisions..

Yeah, I can go month to month.. But if it takes 4-6 weeks to order the car and I can't place my order till Oct. that means I keep the 7 series till December or something..

I'd rather spec my car now, have it built in the first series or second series of allocations and turn in the 7 sooner if possible.

They said I can extend for up to six months though if I have to.

You can strike some good deals in exotic car market these days. Dealer inventories are all time high. Make an offer and you wil be surprised what is accepted.

i never liked Astons that much , i rather have the X5 m to be honest ..

i received a call today from BMW to come on in and give them what i want for my options ! im not in a rush though , i still love my four six and will keep using it even after the M takes up more room in the garage.. i cant wait to see them sitting side by side

i wasnt given the choice of rims ? it didn't occur to me till' after i left... i would assume its the "x5m" style but i guess i should confirm that. also i swear i read on a few sites that you had to ask for a certain package that would set the trucks top speed around 172 not 155 anyone here know what im talking about on this ??
the bmw guy really wasnt that helpful, he didnt know anything we dont ,infact i would say he knew less. he couldnt show me any of the
interior trims, i had to guess. i wanted a dark wood but he said they only offer the " red brown grained wood trim " now to me a red wood sounds bad but i have no idea what it looks like...why this crap isnt on the site idk but it should be. the same with the "Active ventilated seat package" i have no clue what the seats look like but he showed me the new 7series seats and said they looked like that if i get that package...not a great feeing at all , nothing like when i got my 4.6. he also said there is no SC pick up or euro pick up either, thats definitely disappointing , the SC trip and track events last time were a blast and deff' worth the time..
