well I didn't know any better, this was my first bmw and I didn't understand how things were in the engine bay and they knew that. another shop I went to said if I was doing the belts and pulleys with them, I would have only paid an extra 50 each to change the pump and thermostat

Im trying to replace my upper control arm and i cant seem to get it out. I had both bolts out but it is hitting the shock abs thats why it wont come out. Can someone show me a lonk to do an e53, the video i saw was for an e30.

Unbolt the shock at the bottom to get a bit of extra clearance. Also helps to unbolt the caliper and rest it on the wheel carrier. Plenty of room then.
