LOL... love it. I think the color is more copper than gold... especially when next to the gold color on the shelf. But I can see how it gives the bullion look off.

Hopefully going to have more updates soon. Been getting work done... Next project coming this weekend, baking the headlights to install LED halos that came in, nightbreakers, and polish/restore the headlights. Also have to install tie rod inner/outers, tension arm ball joints/bushings, and get an alignment.

Also ordered some liqui-moly (5w-40) and filters for the x3 and x5 to get done. Trying to get a bunch of stuff done before our trip to Florida at the end of the month.

Will I run out of time? Stay tuned for the next exciting (read boring) episode of Goldmember's Imola Adventure!!!

I bet that sounds WAAAAAAYYYY better than the 8" option. Wonder how many of those they sold. That is a massive amp as well compared to what they packaged with the later setup.

Thanks for posting that. I like the NO2 setup as well. Very cool. Sometimes I wish I didn't need to haul stuff with my X.

That was a picture I took to show nitrous and meth injection tank but it does the trick. As I recall the subwoofer was available for several years. I've pulled the subwoofer and tank a few times for space enough to load something that won't fit through the doors but since I don't use it for hauling that space is hardly ever needed. There's room for a couple of small bags from one of those trips to Lowes to get something I should have bought the previous time I was there to get stuff for the same project.

March 14 -19, 2016

- Installed new tension arm bushings (Meyle HD), tension arm ball joints (Lemforder), steering rack boots/bellows, and inner/outer tie rods (Lemforder). This took a long time due to ball joints being extremely frozen in the spindles. Took 3.5 hours to remove one side and 6 hours to remove the other!!! In the end on the tough side... it took a BFH to remove it. Also the nut on the ball joint was stripped so it was stuck holding the tension arm to the spindle. I had to cut the nut and stud off with a dremel in order to remove it.
