No problem. I Didn't know what area you were in. I didn't know they did BMWs there. Every time I drive by it's Volvos as far as the eye can see.

Oh, yeah, bimmers, range rover and volvos. Odd group in the waiting room. Nobody has anything to say to one another. They offer loaners and usually are pretty decent. They'll install provided parts, most shops that specialize won't so I like that aspec.

If you run something like the Dinans or Eisenmann Race on the 4.6is you'll love the sound and feel. I've got the Eisenmann Race on my 4.6is and Often when I start her up or leave the subdivision my neighbor comes outside to hear the exhaust note. He is in love with the sound

I bet. It's a great motor with really nice internals and if allowed it probably loves to clear it's throat.

Hi, wasn't trying to be rude. Thanks. I'd wanted this exact car for 6 years before the owner screwed me I mean sold it to me. I love it too.

It does.

Factory cats and resonator with aftermarket cans in the back strikes a good balance.

Ever considered headers and performance cats?

Welcome and Congratulations!

I installed electric cutouts some time ago. Other than welding that I don't do, they were an easy install. I installed the switch in the center console. I have never found headers for an X5 4.6. Exhaust manifolds are pretty good as is.

I'd love to hear that beautiful truck you have. Wait, no headers?! I wonder how disgustingly expensive a custom set would be. You're right, they're not bad at all. I'm seriously thinking of some exhaust systems I want to put on her truck. I doubt she'll remove them. Something subtle till around 3.5k on the tach then I want to hear terror.

Thanks!

I will try taking some video but here is a picture just after they were installed.

I have Dinan exhaust but I usually have them open for at least a portion of going out.
