Here's a link to the diagram & part # database below. Select the 11 digit part nbr for item #1 that has the heated steering wheel option {S248A} in the supplemental column...and that will be the heated steering wheel you are looking for.

Same link below will give the 11 digit part nbr for #7 (the air bag). Once you have the 11 digit BMW part nbr...just type "BMW xx xx x xxx xxx" into a google search box (where x=the 11 digits of the BMW part nbr)...the world is your shopping mall.

awesome, so the heated sport wheel part # is 32306778411 (Airbag sport st. whl. lthr multifunction)

Part 32306778411 was found on the following vehicles: RealOEM.com - Part Search

Would this wheel be plug and play if I found one with the trim, buttons, and airbag (I have a non sport heated wheel right now, 4 spoke)?

I found a wheel but they don't know if its heated or not , is there a visual way to tell? buttons perhaps? can anyone show me the buttons of the heated vs non-heated sport wheel?

this post shows the wheel very well, but I do not see a button for heating... http://www.xoutpost.com/229974-post29.html

You can visually tell if a steering wheel is heated because it will have the heated steering wheel icon located on one of the lower right buttons (next to the button with the cruise control icon).

If the wheel is NOT heated...it will only have the button with the icon for cruise control on the lower right side:

HEATED STEERING WHEELS (note icons on lower right buttons)

NON HEATED STEERING WHEEL (only has single button on lower right side with cruise control icon on it)

I thought about heated steering wheel.
Then found a heated steering wheel cover for way less. Probly under 40$.

Then I decided to buy some nice gloves, soon after that I finally decided to use an old pair of gloves I have laying around.

I'd say I'm winning now

I need a round airbag to fit the exact steering wheel in the pic.. but I am seeing them on ebay for mucho $$$.

I do see other round airbag for $80 etc.. but I have a feeling they will not fit.I don't think they have the overlap on the top...

I believe I need the one pictured in the pic in the post above.

Are they many different versions of the 'round' airbag for the E53 ?
