And blakamin, I do get over to Oz a couple of times a year - If I'm ever down your way I'll let you know.

One more of the maglock part I forgot to upload a pic of.

This is one of the many meters I have mounted to the underside of the shelf on my computer desk. Each meter can show 2 of the batteries on the solar setup. This one is showing the voltage of my X5 for instance.

So if the battery has issues I can see it from in the house. Notice it shows 12.3 it should be showing about 12.5 or higher. The battery is dying in my X5.

Tomorrow will be the first full day of charging by the solar panels so I will see what they can do to recharge it to max.

But I don't have much faith in it. If nothing else this will insure I can keep driving it till I can get around to changing the battery.

If it brings something to the table for us all there is no such thing as hijacking in my opinion

Seems hurricane Irma has decided it wants a piece of me. Of course by the time it gets here it wont be but a tropical storm with 60 or so mph winds. Though it could spawn tornadoes which Alabama is famous for.

Its making a bee line straight to my house according the current track predictions.

This may delay some of next weeks projects

Irma is still showing to be here Monday so its iffy on progress still.

On a positive note though I just ordered two Samsung note 8 phones to replace mine and my wifes note 3 phones. Cost 1/2 what I paid for my X5

I also ordered the parts to build wireless charging stations into my X5 and my wifes car. No more cables to fool with and the phones will stay charged all the time with no thought needed.

Ive got to order a battery Monday as my current one has officially entered the toast zone. So Deka Intimidator battery is in its future.

Its now to the point that if I don't go ahead and instantly try cranking the motor when I first turn the key it wont crank.
