BMW IBUS Adapter – Android | Crowz Nest

The only wire's I spliced into are the ibus wire and the ground on the blue connector that's pin #6 for the ibus and pin #2 for the ground. Its much safer to read the plug and find the numbers that way.

I ran a power wire to fuse #7 in the glove box for the adapters power aka red wire.

Here are all my links that I saved for the IBUS adapter knowledge and sourcing

https://xoutpost.com/1118186-post237.html

IBUS Interface for BMW cars

IBUS Interface order page

BMW IBUS App

http://download.speedy-pics.de/uploa..._interface.pdf

If you read through all those links you will be thoroughly briefed on where to get the adapter, how to connect it, and where to get the App.

Combined with Crowz "How To" in his signature and even a caveman like me could do it

Enjoy!

I think I may be onto something.

Seems that what really needs doing on the dsp stuff is to turn the timeout off in coding but I cant verify this since I don't have it.

MUTE_BEI_POLLINGTIMEOUT
aktiviert activated
deaktiviert disabled

So if I am right it needs to be set to deaktiviert

I SOOOO wish I had one to tinker with.

If this works like I think it will it will make the amp come on from the key being on and not look for a signal to stay on.

I also found reference to the dsp version of the ibus app having something like this in the coding section of the app. Look in there and see if there is a disable polling or something that mentions polling. If it does you should be able to change that setting and cause it to keep the amp turned on.
