another battery thread-go AGM or not

I bought this Duracell H8 AGM battery several months ago and it is doing very well. I have no issues and all appears to be working well.

I would have a hard time believing that AGM manufacturers would bring a product to market that was not compatible with the vast majority of in service alternators that more than likely were in service long before the AGM technology emerged.
